The fitness industry is failing dads. Telling us we need to give up
everything to succeed. I built a program to prove them wrong.

I used to think I had to choose mate.
The online fitness industry had me thinking that if I wasn’t training 6 days a week, living off air-fried chicken, and living like a hermit, I wasn’t serious.
That’s not discipline to me. That’s delusion mate. Thats somebody else’s version of fitness.
Because trying to force that version of “fitness” into our, real dad life, with night feeds, career pressure, nursery to pay for, and a relationship to hold together, it doesn’t make you consistent, It makes you feel like a failure.
I’d had enough with the plans that expect you to put your life on hold to get fit.
I’d had enough of the guilt when I missed a session.
The Fit Dad Launchpad is not this version of fitness. It’s built for the chaos, not in spite of it.
In 8 weeks, I went from knackered, low-confidence, and constantly stressed, to lighter, stronger, and more mentally sharper than I’d been in 10 years.
And the best part? I didn’t miss bath time. I didn’t skip date night. I didn’t put life on hold to live in the gym and I still ate my Sunday roast.
I showed up more, at home, at work, at football, and in my own skin. Because when you build momentum the right way, your whole life shifts. The way you look is just a bonus.
If you’re a busy dad who’s done with the constant stream of bollocks form the fitness industry, and ready to train in a way that actually works for your life, then he next 8 weeks the start of everything.
But before we get to that have a look at...

Having someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Rick is your secret weapon.
He’s not just a trainer but a coach who cares and listens. I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made and definitely want to continue that.
The video and written chapters inside the members portal, I still use them today, 6 months after I’ve finished my program.

After completing The Fit Dad Launchpad I’m so happy with Rick’s coaching.
I’ve been able to make better choices and now understand how to make the most of my time so that I can stay consistent with my workouts.
What’s been most valuable is I’ve been coached how to build my own workouts so that they fit around my changing and hectic schedule.

"Game Changer for My Fitness Journey!"
"I’ve trained with Rick for a number of years now having been a couch potato for too many years. Rick makes you think differently-not to beat yourself up or look back but always to move forwards."
- David Lawson

"Effective Workouts with Real Results!"
"You’ll never regret working with Rick and having someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Rick. He’s not just a trainer but a coach who gives a shit and listens. In a previous life I was a Professional Footballer, I was fit because of my job, after my career finished I needed the help to transition into life after football without piling on the weight. I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made and definitely want to continue that. "
- Tom Kennedy

"Best Fitness Course I’ve Ever Tried!"
"I’ve worked with Rick for over a year now, losing over a stone in weight after first completing The Fit Dad Launchpad programme. Rick's coaching in terms of building a nutrition routine and training program that fits around your busy day is invaluable and I would encourage anyone with weight loss goals to work with Rick."
- Chris Walsh

Then life hit hard. I lost it all, my routine, my discipline, my identity.
A stint in rehab., Three stone heavier.
No energy. No confidence. No clue how to get back.
And then I became a dad. The old ways of training? They didn’t fit anymore.
I needed a system that actually fit my life. Because here’s the truth I learned. It wasn’t my fault I was struggling to get back into shape.
I used to be part of the fitness industry that builds plans for people with time, energy, and zero responsibilities.
And then put all the responsibility on my clients when their program didn’t work.
That was when I was in my 20’s. Now I’m a 42 year old dad of a 2 year old boy.
I needed a program that allowed me to thrive in my life as a dad. So I built something different.
I built a new way of training that was forged in the battleground of fatherhood.
2–3 sessions a week.
Short, focused, strength-based workouts. No extreme diets. No punishment.
Just workouts that allowed me to show up, and that work in real life.

Just workouts that allowed me to show up, and that work in real life. Now I’m leaner, stronger, and more present than I’ve ever been. But But more importantly, I’m consistent.
I don’t rely on motivation. I rely on systems.
I don’t feel guilty anymore. I feel in control. And I want that for you too. Because if you’re anything like I was, tired, overweight, weak and a bit lost in the chaos. You don’t need more pressure, you need a way forward.
My way of training isn’t about getting shredded as the end goal.
It’s about showing up stronger for your kids, your partner, and yourself.
One of the beautiful things in this life is that we get to chose what we suffer for.
The suffering of doing nothing will always hurt you more than the suffering of starting again.
So let’s start again properly this time.
